The professional organization for Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists and Transplant Surgeons of the Greater Houston Area.
Each fall the Texas Gulf Coast Gastroenterological Society hosts the annual “Gastroenterology Fellows Presentation”. The meeting exists to encourage gastroenterologists at the resident/fellow level to present research in latest research, clinical trials and other developments, to improve patient care and their quality of life.
Fellows from the respective institutions within the Greater Houston Area are selected in making these presentations. Each presenter is considered a “winner” and is awarded. The first place winner is given the “Texas Gulf Coast Gastroenterology Presentation Award”. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges comprising of members of the society.
